During the summer of 2016, I attended the First Inugagural Nate Parker Summer Film Institute. This was a 10-day filmmaking workshop that taught the aspects of filmmaking through cultural enrichment. Towards the end of the workshop, we used what we learned to make a short film. I took on the role of Co-Director.
